I am pleased to announce that, thanks to all of the donations and money raised through the basket raffle, we were able to give the Bridgeton Salvation Army $100 to go toward their community food pantry. Thank you for all who made this possible!
2019 Recital Funds Raised Report
I am pleased to announce that, thanks to all of the donations and money raised through the basket raffle, we were able to raise $300 to donate to the Cornerstone Women's Resource Center this year. Thanks for supporting us and making this a possibility.
We also added to our Hardship/Scholarship Fund, which was needed, since some of the money from last year was used to help out someone in need this past year. We hope to help other families give their kids opportunities like this in the year's to come as we are able to do so. We started our Hardship/Scholarship Fund to help work with families when times are tight, they lose a job, or face other hard times; temporarily buffering the cost of lessons and giving their kids something to smile about.
As many of my piano students know, the main keyboard used for lessons has had some different troubles for a couple years now, but this year it had some more issues that made me realize it was time for an upgrade. Temporarily we have been borrowing a keyboard, but it also has it's own issues, so a portion of this year's ticket sales will go towards the purchase of a digital console piano---so the piano students can have the much needed and long-awaited upgrade to their piano lessons.

1) Hardship Fund: helps students continue their music education when their family has fallen on financial hardships.
2) Replenishing the local Bridgeton Salvation Army Food Bank
3) Purchasing needed equipment, and other music resources for Kids Arise. This year we are in need of 3 more student piano lab headphone kits.
4) Cost of the recital

2018 Recital Funds Raised Report
We are pleased to announce, that thanks to all of the donations and money raised through tickets sales and the chinese auction, we were able to raise enough money to make a much needed donation to the Bridgeton Salvation Army Food Pantry! They greatly appreciated the donation, as this past year it has been hard to keep up with the demand in our community.
We also were able to start our Hardship Fund! I am so excited to see this get started. Knowing how important music is for each individual, it can be heart breaking to watch a promising young student cry when they find out they can't take lessons due to a sudden financial hardship. Many times never to return to lessons again. I don't want to see kids miss out due to circumstances out of their control.
