Homeschool Group Classes are offered in the Fall and Winter. They meet once a week for a duration of 10 weeks. The class length is 50 minutes and includes playing the instrument, theory, games, and fun activities. These are great classes for introducing your children to the different instruments. A minimum of 3 students is required to form a group. 3-6 students per group.
2023 FALL Classes are from September 12th-November16th
Tuesdays (Piano), Wednesdays (Ukulele), and Thursdays (Drums) at 10am
2024 WINTER Classes are from January 9th-March 14th
Tuesdays (DRUMS), Wednesdays (PIANO) 11-11:50am
Piano 101
The Piano 101 class is designed for those 7-11 years of age. This course is an intro to the piano and can be used to gauge interest and determine whether studying piano is right for your child. The group classes are 3-4 students in size and meet in the fall and winter for 10 weeks. In this class, students will learn to read rhythmic notation, first notes on the staff, and piano geography, and will be able to play alone and with others. Classes consist of theory games, playing on the keyboard, rhythm challenges, and other fun activities!
Classes are 50 minutes long and meet once a week for a duration of 10 consecutive weeks.
Cost: $150 per student for 10-week class (sibling discount ($30 off)= $120 per child)--other discounts do not apply
A keyboard isn't required for this intro class but is recommended. (ask about our rentals)

Drums 101
The Drums 101 class is designed for those 6-10 years of age. This course is an intro to the drums and can be used to gauge interest and determine whether studying drums is right for your child. The group classes are 3-6 students in size and meet in the fall and winter for 10 weeks. In this class, students will learn to read and play rhythmic notation, and proper stick technique, and explore different percussion instruments. Classes consist of playing on hand drums, bucket drums, and the drum pad, rhythm challenges, and other fun activities!
Classes are 50 minutes long and meet once a week for a duration of 10 consecutive weeks.

Ukulele 101
The Ukulele 101 class is designed for those 8-12 years of age. This course is an intro to the ukulele and can be used to gauge interest and determine whether studying the ukulele is right for your child. The group classes are 3-6 students in size and meet in the fall and winter for 10 weeks. In this class, students will learn to strum the instrument, proper pick technique, and discover their first 4-5 chords. Classes consist of playing different folk songs and worship songs, and playing rhythm and theory games.
Classes are 50 minutes long and meet once a week for a duration of 10 consecutive weeks.

Students are required to have their own Ukulele for this intro class. (ask about purchasing online--do not purchase toy instrument as it will not stay in tune)
